Eagle Custom Choppers Review

by Dave Smitt
(Ottawa, Ont, Canada)

The custom chopper builder's name is Derek Pitcher, he is the owner of Eagle Custom Choppers, and they are located in Kemptville, Ontario, Canada.

Even though they are a fairly new custom building shop, they have many years experience behind them in customizing all makes and models.

Derek is easy going, very helpful and understanding of so many questions asked of him. The shop does excellent work and reasonably priced as well. They also did my paint work on the bike.

Started out as a great little shop with good service, but as financial constrictions caught up with Derrick and he unfortunatley had to cut back to try to make things stay afloat. Jobs started to get rushed and the quality was affected. This happens to alot of small businesses, and unfortunatley before things could turn around Eagle Custom Choppers had to close down about a year ago?

Sad customer (Who still hasn't got his engine back!)

Dave, thanks for reviewing Eagle Custom Choppers! You talked about the paint job on your bike, which makes me want to see a pic of it. If you have one, feel free to send it in so we can show it off. :)

Thanks,
Brett

Total Disaster
by: Derrek

It was my pro-street built by Derick in 2010. The
parts got there in Jan of 2010, but I didn't get the bike until Sept. It looked ok but turned into a mess.
I took it to Capital City Custom to have them
fix the wiring. Then I got the bad news. The more
they looked the worse it got. Shocks not working,
bearing spreader in rear wheel was cut too short
so he added a shim that fell apart. The handle bar
riser was made with transmission parts and flat
washers, front wheel was not centred. Derick ground the transmision holes in the frame bigger
to the point were the trans-bolts were ready to
pop through. These were just some of the problems.
NOTHING WAS DONE RIGHT GLAD THE BIKE DIDN'T
KILL ME!!!
